"There are ALWAYS FLOWERS, for those who WANT TO SEE THEM"
- Henri Matisse -
CLARISSE is my grandmother's name – and this tribute was made for her.
"Instruction Manual for Ordinary Love Stories"
This is a story made of many stories.
It’s a way of catching up on writing,
a conversation of many lines drawn in images.
It is a manifesto to the BEAUTIFUL THINGS in the HAPPY banality of everyday life.
A manual organized by emotions and recorded through a lens where the filter is LOVE.
A manual where color, light, detail, flavors, aromas, harmony, and chaos—
all take part in assembling my BEING into a state with its own laws and intimate geography.
Though weary on this 100-year journey,
beyond my love, I will pack for you 100 images, 100 pieces of me—
ours, and carrying your name! 100 times Clarisse, and rightly so!
You have the strength and soul of 100!
This gift is for you, Clarisse.
